The horns come off.
Four finishes, three spans, and a thread that stops where it should. Not made yet.
Not photographs
Everything below is a render. We have not printed a set yet, so nobody knows exactly what they look like, including us. Real photographs go here the moment the first ones come off the bed, and nothing is for sale until they do.
Why they come off at all. A skull with a metre and a half of horn on it does not fit in a box any courier wants to carry, and freight is charged on the size of the carton, not the weight of what is in it. So the horns thread into the skull and travel flat beside it. You screw them in when it arrives. The thread stops at the right depth on its own, so there is no way to run it in too far.
What a set will cost
Bought with a skull, as a second pair in another finish or another length. Nothing here is buyable yet.
| Set | Each horn | Span with the skull | Added to a skull |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mini | 12 cm | 30 cm | $35 |
| Mini long | 24 cm | 55 cm | $35 |
| Standard | 25 cm | 80 cm | $50 |
| Long | 60 cm, in two parts | 150 cm | $79 |
The rope is not decoration. On every pair longer than the mini, the horn prints in two pieces and screws together. The wrap sits on the join, half on each side, because a black band reads as a choice and a visible seam reads as a mistake. We would rather tell you it is there than have you find it.
The skulls
The cow, ram and bison skulls take screw in horns. The bird skulls do not, and never will, but they are here because anyone who wants one of these usually wants another.
