Sasquatch Bust, Bigfoot Statue
$189.00
He has stopped, turned, and looked back over his shoulder, and he has not decided anything yet. Three hundred millimetres of carved fur, and not one photograph of him has ever been in focus.

Every photograph is blurry. Every cast is disputed. Every witness is somebody’s uncle. And still, a hundred years on, people keep walking into the woods hoping.
Not the monster. The moment before.
He is not roaring at you and he is not running away. He has stopped, turned, and looked back over his shoulder, and he has not decided anything yet. That is the whole of the Sasquatch story: a thing that saw you first and did not stay.
Every bigfoot statue on the market is mid-bellow. This one is thinking about it, which is considerably worse.
Three hundred millimetres of hair
The fur is the product. Every lock is sculpted as its own form, sweeping back from the brow, down through a matted beard and out across the shoulders, so the light breaks into bands instead of landing flat. It is the reason this takes as long as it does and the reason it does not look printed.
The face is left smoother by contrast: a heavy brow ridge, a low sloping forehead with the crest running over the crown, deep-set eyes and a broad flat nose. Hominid rather than ape, which is the difference between a Sasquatch and a gorilla and the thing most sculpts get wrong.
Left unpainted
Bare bone-white filament. No paint, no gloss, no attempt at fur colour. Flat white is what lets you read the carving, the same way a marble bust does, and it suits a shelf far better than brown plastic would. A dark wash pushed down between the locks is coming as a second finish.
Who it is for
Cryptid collections, cabins, man caves, a study that has accepted what it is. Anyone who has ever said the words well, something is out there and meant it. It is also the gift for the person who already owns every other bigfoot thing, because none of those are 300 mm of carved bust.
How it stands
Three hundred millimetres on its own, standing square without a base. A plinth with a plate is being built to fit every bust we make, so it will have somewhere to sit and a name on it. Ask and you will be told the day it exists.
The numbers
- 300 mm tall, not counting a plinth. Wide at the shoulders.
- Printed and finished by hand in Australia. Nothing cast, nothing outsourced.
- WEIRDO 006. That number belongs to this design and will never be given to another.
How it is made
Modelled from scratch, printed here, then cleaned up and packed by hand. Faint layer lines follow the fur, because it was made rather than moulded, and no two come out quite identical.
PLA, which softens around 60 degrees, so keep it out of direct sun and out of a parked car in summer.
Looking after it
Dust it with a soft dry brush rather than a cloth, which catches in the locks. Lift it by the shoulders. Out of direct sun.
Ordering one now
Made to order. Order it and yours goes into the next batch, usually within a fortnight, and you are emailed when it goes on the bed and again when it ships.
Change your mind before it is printed and we refund it in full without asking why. After that you still have every right you have under Australian Consumer Law, which we cannot exclude and would not want to.
